CBP’s Golden Cup™ is Canada’s Largest Beer Pong Sporting Event. The tournament, held over a 2 day weekend, will have 1000 teams (2000 players) compete for a top prize of $60,000(CAD) and the most prestigious sought after Beer Pong Trophy in the world– The Golden Cup™. A total Cash Prize Pool of over $150,000 and over $60,000 in Door Prizes (Odds 1 in 13) will be won at every CBP Golden Cup™.

The following Canadian Cities will host a yearly CBP Golden Cup™: Vancouver 2015, Toronto 2016, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Ottawa – all TBA. In each Canadian city hosting a Golden Cup™, 100 Official CBP Remote Qualifier Tournaments™ at select local pub and bar venues will be played every year. The top 100 1st place teams will receive direct FREE ENTRY into the Qualifying Round of the Golden Cup™– a $400 value.

Membership Benefits at the Golden Cup™: CBP Members will be eligible to purchase pre-sale registration packages 4 weeks in advance of general public registration. All 2000 Qualifying Round tickets will be available for purchase during the pre-sale. During all official CBP tournament games (Remote Tournament™ and Golden Cup™ events) Members are ranked in the CBP Member database, but ONLY Members will know their player statistics such as cup differential, win/loss ratio, winning streak and much more – so do not hesitate to sign up now! www.cdnbeerpong.ca/membership.

CBP Champions League™ Member’s PlayerScore™ Ranking: is determined at the end of each game by awarding points for some the following game elements: (1) number of opposing team cups eliminated,(2) number of (your) own teams cups remaining, (3) cup differential and (4) should you win or lose the game. All official CBP ranked tournament games are timed to encourage swift gameplay; a time penalty is given to both teams that fail to finish a game in regulation time (10 minutes). Food and Beverage are available for purchase at the Golden Cup™. While players may choose to drink our Premium Beer Sponsor’s beer as your beverage of choice in the tournament, water will be the only liquid we can legally pour into the beer pong cups – as CBP does want you to abide by our Behavioural Guidelines and does NOT encourage the over-consumption of alcohol at any of its responsible sporting events.

CBP Remote Tournaments™ are held across Canada in each city hosting a Golden Cup™. Tournaments begin in Vancouver Spring 2014 and Toronto 2015. CBP will partner with 25 different unique local pubs and bars (Remote Venue Partners™), to host 100 Remote Tournaments™ in each host city. Each Remote Tournament™ will consist of 32 teams (64 players) which will register online, via cdnbeerpong.ca/registration, to compete in each tournament for a cash prize pool of $1,500 and most importantly a top prize of 2 tickets to the Qualifying Round of the Golden Cup™– a $400 value.

How it works: Show up with a friend or challenge new beer pong friends at your favorite local pub that endorses the CBP Table and purchase a CBP Play Package™ (CBP Beer Cups ‘4 drinking cups’ and 2 CBP Beer Pong Balls) to get your Beer Pong Table Time* CBP beer pong cup and ball package! (Local food & beverage laws do not permit drinking cups to be re-used once they have been removed from the establishment.)
